Thank you for visiting our website and taking an interest in our Kura. Our vision is to ‘inspire lifelong learners to be connected, engaged and empowered’. As a small rural school nestled in the hills of Taihape we have a range of rich learning opportunities right on our doorstep that we are dedicated to making the most of. Our small class sizes with two teachers and one full time TA means our students' individual needs are catered to on a range of different levels and the relationship amongst our learning community can be best described as ‘one big happy whānau’. As a school that is passionate about removing barriers to learning both inside the classroom and out, we go the extra mile to ensure our tamariki access opportunities of all descriptions, including sport- yes you will see our staff cheering on the sidelines! Our kura is at the heart of an incredible community who go above and beyond to support our hopes and dreams for our learners and to ensure all Taoroa tamariki thrive.
